About Márcio Carneiro Barbosa

I am a Veteran Officer of the Brazilian Army Engineering Corps. Bachelor in Military Sciences from the Agulhas Negras Military Academy (AMAN 1991) and Master in Military Sciences from the Army Command and General Staff School (ECEME 2008).
I served as Instructor at the Army Command and General Staff School (ECEME); Operations Officer in the Central America Demining Assistance Program (PADCA/OAS); International Observer in the United Nations Integrated Mission in Timor-Leste (UNMIT/UN) and Advisor to the Military Counselor of the Permanent Mission of Brazil to the United Nations (USA).
I commanded an Engineering Platoon in a Combat Engineering Battalion; a Company in Construction Engineering Battalions; and commanded the 1st Construction Engineering Battalion (Caicó-RN) and the Brazil Joint Peace Operations Center (Rio de Janeiro-RJ).
